We had an incredible time! Nicola, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was awesome to see four different wolves with distinct personalities. It's clear that the volunteers here care deeply for the wolves under their care.

The tour included roughly an hour of information about wolves and similar animals, including information about their gradual reintroduction across the US and the benefits that brings with it. The rest of our time was spent walking around the grounds looking at the (at the time) four wolves on site. Both parts were engaging and well worth the price!

The only rough part was the meeting location, an abandoned gas station at the bottom of the road leading up to the sanctuary. That said, it was kind of cool to see a run down building. 😛

Secluded space in the forest. Quiet and safe.

Entire tour went by the plan, on the time and well prepared!

Super educational, fun and our guide Nikola was really friendly and patient with our questions!

Please support these beautiful animals! Their stained reputation needs to clear up.

From start to finish, the entire visit was simply awesome. I highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature and wildlife. It's an unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe.

My friends and I have been making an annual pilgramage to White Wolf for over 10 years (except during COVID) and also support its mission regularly. We love coming here! We always learn something new. Nikola makes an initial educational presentation that has expanded our understanding not only of wolves but other critters in the ecosystem as well. Then we walk to the various enclosures and learn about these wolves' daily lives and how the sanctuary moves them around various enclosures, how they are fed, etc. It's a peaceful mountaintop place and the wolves are well-cared for and respected. It's emphasized that this is their home and we respect their boundaries. There have been as many of 12 wolves (6 pairs) but over time many have passed and there are now 4. These wolves are able to live much longer lives than they would in the wild. We always meet new people on our annual visits. Highly recommend!!!

Really informative and lots of good insight into behaviours and history of US wolves in the two hour talk on the deck. Weather was beautiful and my 12 year old loved our visit too. $25/child & $75/12+ Great gift shop with lots of choices as well 😀 Would have preferred more time enjoying the animals in their enclosures though.

Had a wonderful tour at the white wolf sanctuary. On a mountain East of Waldport. They have 5 beautiful wolves there right now. We got to see them all! And our kids loved it.

Probably the best Sanctuary I've ever been to, being provided a sweet balance of luscious acreage, and superb knowledge about wolves in general (far more than I can comprehend), all this thanks to Nicola. Sakkari was the one who stole the show for our tour, although (unknown name) would be a close second in my opinion.
