Sally O’Neal’s is truly a unique pizza restaurant. My family and I have been coming for many years.

Sally O’Neal, the restaurant’s namesake, scoured many cookbooks to create her unique recipes. She passed away almost 20 years ago.

The prices seem like a lot for pizza, but for us it usually feeds all four of us for around $60.

We generally sit outside to enjoy the breeze, I give the atmosphere 5 stars for how well they maintain the restaurant - and its quiet patio.

Love Sally O'Neals! A Tampa classic. So good, every time. Today, I picked up a Deep Dish cheese. What a treat! $13 - can't beat that anywhere today for this quality!

Love this place! Gluten Free pizza crust that is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend their pizzas, but even more so for anyone looking for a delicious gluten free pizza - so great to find a place that does not use the standard thin cardboard GF crusts - this is like a real pizza!

The sauce is delicious! The best sausage and freshest toppings and the best part it was coming out of the oven right on time! Awesome staff, cool little wine bar, great vibe and did I mention cleanest pizza place around? Easy parking, eat in or takeout as well as delivery. Pet friendly outside on lovely patio. Quaint place to hang out.

I revisited Sally O’Neal’s for the first time in years and I’m happy to find the pizza here is still some of the best that you’ll find in the Tampa Bay area. We had the goat cheese prosciutto pizza and meatballs as a starter and both were really delicious. Our server was very attentive and friendly as well. Already looking forward to our next meal here.

My husband's favorite food is pizza. He could literally eat it every day! A friend said we should check out Sally O'Neal's. What we didn't realize is that we must have passed this place a thousand times LOL (it is across from Fresh Kitchen right down the street from Bern's, Bella's and Haven. We have been to all ?

We got there around 1:30 so they were not that busy yet with dine in guest. There is seating inside and outside with happy hour from 4-7pm. We sat at the bar (around 4/5 bar stools and beer and wine only). The staff was super friendly and attentive. There is a tv above the bar and I really liked the fact that they had a movie playing. Per their recommendation we started with the yummy bread sticks and the perfect mariner for dipping, 10/10. We watched the end of Jerry Maguire while we waited and drank a nice cold beer. For the pizza I wanted to try the goat cheese, prosciutto, roasted red pepper pizza and my hubby wanted a margarita. Our server heard us and suggested half and half which is what we did. Let me tell you we are both very picky about our pizzas especially the crust. There is an art to getting the flavor right and the right amount of crunch without making it taste like cardboard. And they definitely know what they are doing!! The margarita pizza sauce wasn't overpowering it was light, but with just the right amount of fresh tomato flavor, with the creaminess of the fresh mozzarella and fresh basil 10/10. The goat cheese, prosciutto, and roasted red pepper; I mean come on you can't go wrong with goat cheese and prosciutto!!! We both did agree that on this particular pizza, they could've done without the roasted red pepper. We just felt it was a bit over powering but thankfully there was not that many. I will order again without them. So for that reason we give it a 9/10.

We stopped in this evening for dinner and had a great experience. There is both inside and outside seating. The restaurant is very clean. I ordered the house salad with the house dressing it was perfect. I opted for the small and it was big for a side salad, in my opinion, and everything was so fresh! The house dressing is delicious. We also ordered a margarita pizza. Tons of fresh basil on top. Our server was Ciara and she is delightful and an excellent server. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Tampa.
