Always nice! They do good work. If you need your boat fixed. A lot of the merchandise is a little expensive for my taste. It'd be cool if they had sales but I don't think they do. But always super super nice and helpful.

This was our first time here, I brought my high energy grandkids (ages 9 and 5) hoping to find another physical activity they could enjoy, and it was a winner. They had a lot of fun. The guy behind the desk checked us in, got them in their harnesses, and then showed us the proper use of the equipment to ensure their safety. He was super friendly and knowledgeable and patient. We’ll be back for sure.

I first talked to Steve at the Raleigh boat show and followed up with a visit to the showroom. I was very impressed with the Rock Outdoors facility. It was a pleasurable, no pressure sales experience.

Amending my previous review. There was a misunderstanding/communication getting my 20 hour service and warranty work done, which left me very frustrated. A few hours later the service manager called to explain what had happened and proceeded to make it right. In the end, I felt much better. The root issue was simply new employees not fully understanding the system/process, which I get. Therefore, I am adjusting my rating from 1 star to 4.

This place has it all and it's been in our backyard, so to speak, for some time now. Go see Jason Thomas. He is in Marine Sales there. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. We were there on Father's Day weekend and we were obvious tire kickers and he still answered all of our questions. PS: If he gets a boat load of commissions from my review please tell him Michele - The Triad Broker recommended him and Rock Outdoors. Great place. ?

Worst service center I’ve ever been to. Claimed they had been to Minn Kota training, kept my tm for almost 3 months. Fired their technician halfway through. Awful communication. Had us drive to the store twice saying it was ready for pick up when it wasn’t. Lost my plug. Lost my remote. “Found them” weeks later. And charged me for parts that were still under warranty + the labor.

I wish I could leave a review with no stars!
I bought a new boat in February of this year from Rock Outdoors. Before we paid them we were promised by our salesman, warranty Manger and the sales office Manger that we could have all our warranty work and regular maintenance done at RockOutdoors. We even got it in writing before we paid. July of this year we had warranty work that needed to be done. They knew what work needed to be done and we made appointment by phone. We received no notice by mail. They didn't even let us know when we made our appointment that they didn't do warranty work on Caymas boats. Although they were still advertising on their web site they did do warranty work on Caymas boats.When we arrived to leave our boat that's when we were informed that they would do our regular services but not our warranty work. They advertised for several weeks later they did warranty work on Caymas boats.We had to contact an attorney before they removed the false advertisment from their website. The only person we meet there that never lied to us is a mechanic named Brady. Brady is great. He really needs to work for a better company than RockOutdoors!
I will never buy anything form RockOutdoors again and will not refer anyone to go to either one of their stores.
We found a fine company NC Marine, they are an hour in a half away,, but worth the drive. Everyone there is professional, very honest, and very competent.
I am so glad that RockOutdoors will not have the honor to sale another Caymas boat. I am surprised other companies allow them to sale their boats.
Do your self a favor and stay as far away from Rock Outdoors as you can. They were not honest with us and that is no way to run a business. It's sad to be blessed with a business and no one that works there except for a mechanic that will be honest and stand by what they promised as for as service.
I never would have bought a boat from them if I had known how dishonest they are doing business this way is very unethical! Just wanted to let everyone know how they treated a customer that has given them good business and many referrals over many years! Not anymore! So disappointed in this Company and the management especially the Warranty Manger Stephine, she could have let her customers know of changes. No apology , very unprofessional. If you choose to do businesses with them beware of how they have treated one of their very good customer!
