I love the fish plate- especially the small octopus and grilled fish. Tiramisu is also excellent.

Really nicely laid out restaurant, small but somewhat spacious at the same time. Nice background music which isn't overpowering and too loud either, along with lighting to our liking, perfect for a date night. The service was spot on, and the staff that seen to us were welcoming and really wanted to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! The food itself was also cooked to perfection, the Sirloin Rafael'o was my go to, and it didn't disappoint. Not silly expensive prices. I'll certainly be back again in the future.

Came here with my friend the staff were so friendly and chatty with us. Generous portions. The food was lovely and fresh, especially the seafood ravioli it was delicious.Our first time here but we will definitely be back. Thank you. ☺️

We went on the recommendation of our b and b owner and we were not disappointed. The staff were very attentive and explained that there was only 1 chef in the kitchen. At first we thought it might be a problem but meal was delicious. The menu had plenty of choice with more familiar Italian dishes and some interesting ones too. There was also a specials board which had some exciting options. As the restaurant was full we were amazed at the quality of the food cooked by just one person. Excellent value for money and we would definitely go back.

Third visit in three months whilst staying locally. Attentive service, always great food and the flavours are amazing. For one man in such a tiny kitchen, superb. Some have commented about the slow service and we only experienced it once, we were warned by the waitress that the starter would be at least thirty minutes and were quite happy to sit with a glass of wine, chat and wait. As all the food is cooked fresh to order, whats the problem? If you want food quicker there is probably a fast food joint nearby. Just relax and enjoy.

We decided to go to Rafael's based on the feedback.
There was a very wide choice to choose from. I went for a pasta dish and my partner fish with vegetables.
Now the warning. The portions for the main course are huge. We could have shared one plate between us.
On the plus side, the food was excellent and well cooked
We shared a tiramisu which was very good.
We would recommend having a meal here.

The photos was nothing like the food, we ordered potato skins like the photo on the website and they come as literal shavings of the skin fried not loaded skins like it says, t bone steak had no flavour whatsoever, tagliatelle was full of chives and fatty meat. Again the scallops were nothing like how they show and the bruschetta bread was steal and you got a small piece. Not worth it at all wouldn’t recommend. Couldn’t complain about the service lovely staff.
