We like renting their kayaks and paddle boards. Our kids used to take their summer water camps here for years. The owners were so nice to allow the parents to use their extra kayaks and paddle boards for free while our kiddos were in the camps. My friends and I have been customers since.

We even rented a sailboat from them once to go around the beautiful bay. We usually go during the week when it is not crowded on the water. Rental is about $25/hr for the tandem kayaks and we usually are on the water for 1-2 hours.

Our family of 5 rented a hobie plus yesterday, and we had a good time until the mast cable snapped and the mast broke. In less than a second, the cable whipped my sons knee, and the mast smashed my wife into the deck, pinning her to the boat. The sail pinned my 7 year old girl against the side. I was able to pull my daughter and lift the mast enough to get my wife free. We were not pushing the limits of the boat at all and have sailed before. We are an adventure family and realize mistakes happen but this could have been very bad. The staff was fine, but we could have been seriously injured to to equipment that was not safe. No inceident report or anything formal. My wife's wrist is swollen and didn't break because of a metal bracelet. My daughters nose is bruised, and my son is limping and can't play on the beach on the last day of vacation. The only reason I am writing this review is to hopefully prevent someone else from getting hurt on equipment that is not sea worthy.

We rented a sailboat for $45 an hour, which was surprisingly affordable, especially when split between four people.

Alas, the day we came it wasn't very windy, which isn't great for sailing, but oh well

They have a hose for washing the sand off your feet since there's some sand on the shore where you get on the sailboat.

They have the based MTS maps there as well which is a nice souvenir

Prices were good and the equipment was fine, but this place needs a management makeover. I booked the reservation in advance and arrived ready to rent my hobie cat. When I got there, an employee was sitting in front and told me the manager had not arrived yet and he was locked out. This was at 9 and they were supposed to open at 8. My reservation was for 9:15. Luckily someone showed up with keys, but when they let us in, the place reeked of urine. Turns out a urinal was clogged and overflowing with dark brown pee. The urinal was taped off from the day before so it had been there a while, but other urinal and toilets worked. They should have drained it, instead the entire facility smelled really bad. Finally got our boat at 9:40 - 25 minutes later than scheduled. They checked it out to us and sent us on our way. The rigging to the mainsheet was tangled and was disconnect from the boat!!! luckily I knew something about sailing, a beginner would simply have been frustrated and blown across the bay in a boat that could not sail. This is dangerous and unprofessional.
The bay is beautiful and we had a great time after the rough start.

Truthfully, the jet ski itself was a great experience. The gentleman that did our orientation was respectful and pleasant. However, the lady that checked us in was incredibly rude. McKayla was her name and i believe she is also a manager. I understand that this place is always busy but that doesn’t mean that she needs to be unprofessional and rude to the customers. There are many ways to turn customers away than the rude manner she chose to do so. We came yesterday as well and she had the same rude tone she had today. I would have given a five star review but that lady made me think twice about giving it a five stars. She really knocked those other three stars off.

Can't recommend this place enough for a casual, fun time on the bay!

I have been here several times to rent sailboats and sail around the bay. They have 14 foot, 16 foot, and 22 foot sailboats. These are easy to manage by yourself or with some guests, and I always enjoy getting out for an hour or two to sail around.

The folks at the front desk are always very nice and helpful and the team down on the dock always help me and my guests to get in, to push off, and help us to come back into the dock.

The prices are very reasonable, and they have a wide range of marine equipment from sailboats, to paddle boards, to jet skis, and everything in between.

Two brief recommendations:

- if you can schedule your visit ahead of time, call them to reserve the equipment you want to use so you know it'll be available;
- also, the parking immediately around there is often filled, so make sure to arrive early enough so you can find a place to park, or can wait for somebody else to leave so you can jump into their spot!

Good day on bay with my family to kick start the best sign there is ! For my and my daughters birthday month & 1st fell on coindentally on Labor Day weekend so everyone out on Sunday it was nice anyway ♍️ GANG !
