I would like to First Thank Nurse Ari. I didn't want to Go To this ER but had No Choice. This Nurse went far beyond my expectations for a Nurse.
My son recently had an ER visit for his breathing. She had a huge impact on His medical treatment. She made My Son feel like family, as if it was her son or cousin.
She made that whole experience much more enjoyable being at a hospital. I dread hospitals.
My son would not stop talking about how she took care of him. And how he wants to be a Nurse when he grows up to also help people.
JFK has a Bad Rap for being this and that of a hospital. But now and then, you get a NURSE, LIKE NURSE ARI to take control and manage the process so painless.
God bless you, Nurse Ari. I'm glad JFK has nurses like you handling business .
Respectfully.
Noel

Nurse Ann Marie was the best for my stay in labor & delivery recovery. She was very helpful, always checking in on me and baby but definitely let me rest as well. Super sweet and understanding when it came down to me asking for extra things I needed. My baby loved her!

If I could put 0 stars I would. Had my s/o admitted via E.R.

She was left unattended for about an hr almost turning purple before staff came by to ask if she was cold and needed a blanket. She also requested a R kit to be done but was ultimately denied her request although even when requested in the state of CA one should be administered. The staff was extremely unprofessional with little to no communication between patient and family as well as making jokes and remarks behind the check-in glass regarding patients that had been admitted previously. This is NOT the way a hospital much less an emergency room should be handling themselves. I will be pursuing legal actions regarding this visit.

DO NOT go to this hospital for emergencies or anything. Their billing department is a joke and just puts in a bunch of the same codes knowing the insurance covers the procedure at 100% but if they continue to bill the same code over and over it reaches a maximum amount and then you have to pay out of pocket which this procedure is covered at 100% no deductible. They billed incorrectly and now are trying to collect money they aren't entitled to. If you have no choice to come here always check your EOB through your insurance they don't send a bill until after the date to constant it.

My mother went in and she had massive pain (she had gallstones) and it took them 5 HOURS to give her medical attention and pain killers. A nurse brought us into a room and did absolutely nothing. I had to go out of my way to talk to nurses and beg them to give my mother attention. It wasn’t busy either. It wasn’t just us there was another patient across from us whom was struggling getting assistance. You have to really beg and be annoying just to get heard and all the stuff including the security, nurses and doctors are all unprofessional. They get annoyed if you talk to them or if you show any other emotion. My experience is mainly for the ones in the E.R they were horrible. My mom was passing out in the lobby and all they kept saying it “well let the doctor know”! Like cmon! Horrible just horrible. There was only one nurse in the ER that helped us and her name was Michille, she was super nice and attentive the rest were very rude.

We have never before been to an ER facility where the first line of personnel are so uncaring and totally rude. This is a place where people come because they are extremely ill and they should be treated with empathy and care. The front line of ER workers should be trained to treat people with compassion.

I arrived at 10:40 pm, they were done with the X-rays at 12:36am, it's 4:00 am and nobody has given us the results, they keep saying to wait, sad part there is not much people and there are others with the same problem, worse part is having a 3 year old at home having a meltadown at this time, my fault for coming here, before service was ok, now is awful.
