One of my favorite stores since I was a kid. It's very clean and the staff is always very helpful and kind. We went in the evening and had to wait a while for someone to come cut the fabric and then wait a while for someone to come to the register. A whole I mean like 5 minutes not 20 or anything. It was night time so I'm sure it's not busy enough for full staff, and employees do have night duties so I would suggest going in the day time if you're in a hurry. If no hurry just make sure you let someone know you're ready to check out if no one's up front. Not a complaint....just real life. Staff have night things to do so don't be hateful.

I have never had a bad experience at Joannes. It is one of my favorite places to shop during the holiday season! Yesterday I was served up a cup of incredibly poor customer service! I asked the person working the register If she could help me locate a price on a certain product. She said “I can’t leave the front desk”. I showed her I understood so would she please call someone else - She said “we are all busy” …. I told her I was trying to spend some money, but I needed some help. She left the front desk mumbled all the way and I asked her why she was being rude. She snapped me covering her name tag (Kate?) because I told her I would report her to management. Finally another employee helped me.

Needless to say, that will be the last time I go in there during this holiday season. Hopefully she will be gone quickly. Definitely not a good fit for customer service - made stocking shelves instead.. ?

I am a crafting enthusiast so I buy a good portion of my supplies from JoAnns. I'm not thrilled with their store or their associates, but I don't have any major complaints either.

The store is clean, well stocked and mostly well organized. They are my #1 go to for jewelry making supplies. The two competitors NEVER have sales like JoAnns on beads and accessories. They are also my #1 local store for fabric. They have a nice selection for a smaller store.

The biggest problem I have with the store is their employees. None of them, with the exception of 1 employee a few yearsn ago, act like they enjoy their job. Their attitude is they'd rather be somewhere else. They don't engage their customers. Don't seem to know or care much about the products they are selling. The people that cut fabric seem to be a wee bit happier, but not much.

Bought floss. Was told it was o. "Door buster price" and couldn't use coupon; paid the regular price. Never have been able to use a coupon, so have xeased to be concerned wirh then. They have great prices after holidays, but regular prices seem quite high. Nice, helpful folks work there, so don't get irate. Plan to go elsewhere more often.

Friendly enough cashiers, the store however is disheveled. There were empty cardboard boxes littering the floor, unmanned step ladders sat in the middle of the aisles. I'm into yarn crafting and I feel as though the yarn here is overpriced.

The staff members know their stock, answer questions with patience and knowledge. Kudos on your associates. I've been a customer ( and part time associate in Carrollton in the 1980s when you folks were Cloth World) in Sherman since 1987 and you're my only store for material !

Always have meet nice staff who helped with my questions. Good sales when I catch them and I enjoy the large fabric selection.
