This store had been on my list for a while. There are two locations in Loveland, and I went to the one on East Eisenhower Blvd. The parking lot was big with plenty of spots. Inside, I was surprised at how large it was. They have everything from camping gear and winter supplies to farming tools and home decor.

My roommate and I found some camping items we’d been wanting, and the place reminded me of a rural version of Scheels. We were also looking for a propane tank. When we asked one employee for help, we got passed on to someone else. Finally, when we found someone who could help, she lost interest, said she’d be back, and never returned. So, we left without the propane.

When we went to check out, it felt like I was interrupting the cashier when I asked for help. At one point, she even suggested we go to the opposite end of the store to check out. Overall, the store itself is nice, but the customer service was disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon.

This store was overwhelming large but it had some surprising finds. I will say, the store is NOT the place for cat owners. 4-5 isles for a dog but barely even one for a cat. I think the section for Guinea pigs and chinchillas was bigger than the cat section. Regardless, the service was extremely friendly and helpful.

Jax is always our first place to go when we need anything to do with outdoor hobbies. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I've found in some other big outdoor sports stores I'm often ignored as a woman but this has never happened in Jax. We love visiting just for a look around and even though they cover a wide array of activities, they still have really good gear for each. I can never resist going to look at their cute chicks each year as well ?

Ive tried REALLY hard to support this Jax, its close to my house, convenient and carries everything I need. However, the customer service is ATROCIOUS.

Today (11/2) Was the first time an employee has EVER asked me if I needed a hand loading grain on to my cart. (Whoever that guy is deserves Employee of the Month!!) And Ive been shopping here for a year!!!!

Counter service is god awful at the front, employees are rude and seem to be annoyed by your presence.

They also dont have an automatic door, which is fine, but when there is three employees at the counter and youre struggling to get the door open because your pushing a cart full of grain, the least the employees could do is hold the door

Ending my business here after literally a year of trying to make it work. I'll gladly driver to TSC where the employees are FRIENDLY and HELPFUL

I came in to get some outdoor pants and belts that I constantly wear. Wade helped me find the pants that I liked and the belt as well. Ivana helped me with the changing room and helped me with orders on the pant color that wasn’t there. Noah helped me with check out and even did an all call for a sticker that I wanted. The staff here is truly amazing and are very willing to help all the time.

I do like JAX in west Loveland but… Every now and then I don’t. I’d much rather support the local businesses (Jax) rather than the big conglomerates (like Scheels). Today at Jax I went to use one of four green coupons I received from them ( I planned on using all of them within the timeframe stated on the coupons and before Christmas). In short, when going to checkout with the 20% off one item coupon I was told I had to have a number with them in order to use the coupon… huh? No where on the coupons does it state I have to give them or have a special number with them. Not sure what number I needed. Anyway, the last thing I want to do in this day and age of data breaching is to give them any personal information to be able to shop at their (or any store). As much as I like Jax it’s this crap that makes me go to hassle free stores like Scheels. And unfortunately that’s what I had to do.

We went to get utility fence panels and none of the cashiers knew what they were or that they carried them in stock. The cashier called the department who would know, and after 3 calls a lady showed up who knew exactly how to ring the panels up. The manager worked with customers at the register behind us and didn’t offer help. After we were rang up the manager told the three cashiers standing there they have to work on making sure the departments are answering their phones.
If there are products on the shelves or outside, the cashiers need to know what they are and how to ring them up. Seems like Jax needs to do a better job training and informing their employees on how to sell the products they carry.

More than other sites, I really do trust the reviews hereon.
This app does have one drawback. It wants me to review every establishment at which I have stopped to tie my shoe.
I have been in this store. I purchased a Schrade old timer copycat knife, made by Kershaw... in china...
The store is quite clean, well-stocked with diverse items all over the map. Except china. Lower case.
I classify this place as what walmart lower case SHOULD be. This place is the quality version of an wannabe all-enconpassing shopping destination.
Extensive free parking.
Handicap access and parking.
Attentive staff.
Everything is full retail price.
Anywho: the last few times I have visited was only to sit on the delightful bench swing at the front door whilst charging my phone.
