Absolutely zero stars!! The staff is EXTREMELY RUDE and racist towards Americans. They ripped up our papers right in front of our faces and screamed at us to leave the hotel for no reason at all. The lobby seemed dirty and I would never recommend it all. DO NOT STAY HERE. 0 stars

The hotel is close to the city centre but then Melsungen is only a small place. It has its own parking area and the hotel is well-appointed although it lacks originality. The rooms and corridors are clean and spacious. The bed is rather hard but that is of course a matter of taste. Breakfast was fine with the traditional spread of cereals, buns , marmalades and cheeses. All as can be expected of a fairly pricy hotel. The reception staff were quite friendly and helpful.

My wife and I arrived at the hotel only to find that workmen were digging up the car park. On checking in, we were relieved to find that the helpful staff had arranged to house us at one of their bedrooms at a nearby location. ||||The room was spacious with a balcony and spotlessly clean. There is free wi fi available and we found this excellent compared to other hotels we had stayed at.We also had free parking available (not at the hotel location where they were working on enlarging the car parking space)||||We ate at the hotel the first evening where they had a special menu for guests staying at the hotel. The food was good, although the atmosphere was a bit soulless given the lack of customers. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The hotel is ideally situated, being just five minutes walk away from the Altsadt, which is certainly worth a visit given the many half timbered buildings there.

Arrived here late evening, everything was already closed, however the staff went all out and tried to get us something to eat ... in the end they went back into their kitchen and served us a bowl of delicious Gulasch soup. Great effort! ||Everything was clean and well looked after, nice room and great value. Super friendly again the next morning and nothing seemed to be a problem, all done with a smile.

Pleasant hotel in centre of Melsungen. Attention to detail. Friendly service. Large parking lot with camera control. Best of all, a grill cabin in the yard used in the summertime for outdoor dining.

Allthough the staff is very friendly and service is good the hotel is outdated, well kept but outdated. Breakfast is ok lots of serials and yoghurts. Coffee could be stronger. Location is good, town centre is just a five minute walk. We would be happy to go there again if price was 60 euro for a night instead of 95 what we paid. ||||Wifi is excellent. You need a voucher provided at the reception for a few bucks.
