This is a quaint hotel in the middle of beautiful Kitzingen, very simple but budget-friendly. There is new ownership and the owners are very nice and friendly. I had asked to switch to a different room after my first night because I was hoping for a shower instead of a bathtub and they were very nice in accommodating me and moving us to a new room next door. The room was nice and spacious. Everything was clean and orderly. The breakfast is simple but good and filling, lots of deli meats and cheeses, breads, marmalade, yogurt, fruit, and eggs available upon request. We had trouble with the wifi in our rooms, couldn't connect at all, so if you need it for business or school you'll probably have to move down to the restaurant. The location is very nice, right in the middle of tons of shopping and restaurants with a bank right across the way. I highly recommend the Greek restaurant right up the path! Overall our stay was very nice.

I stayed there for 9 days and had a terrific experience. All I can say is the management and staff are fabulous human beings who are customer oriented; extremely polite and warm. The daily breakfast was exceptional; their helpful transportation tips helped me to get where I needed since I was traveling daily to a remote village. All the guests I spoke with to also agreed it was great value for your money aside from the wonderful service. They are the new management and it shows dramatically from previous reviews I read. I'm a very satisfied customer! Definitely coming back soon!

The food in the restaurant is very good. This I can say, it is promptly served and very good cooked but the hotel for accommodation is not a good place to stay. The breakfast that is included in the rooms price is very poor, not too many options there. Rooms are very old and not extremely clean. Some day the trash was not emptied and the floor was not vacuumed for the whole period that I stayed there ( for some weeks).

Owners friendly and welcoming, high quality German cuisine, good beer, and that's all. Old furniture, appears dusted an maybe even is dust...In terms of cleanliness, they are struggling every day, but ...It's OK for a night or short stay business but not your holidays

Only two stars for the locations, very slow internet, rooms well worn, nothing to say about the breakfast, because we did not receive it despite the agreement. We visit many places, but here we will not be back.
