Es ist ein sehr schöner, gepflegter und weitläufiger Zoo. Wir hatten direkten Kontakt mit Giraffen, Flamingos, Wellensittichen, Seesternen und Ziegen. Wir konnten mit einer Bimmelbahn und einem Karussell fahren, es gab Essen und Snacks im Zoo. Für groß und klein ein toller Ort !

Sehr schöner und großer Zoo. Man kommt sehr nah an die Tiere heran und diese sind im Vergleich zu deutschen Zoo's auch recht aktiver (So zumindest mein Eindruck) Der Zoo an sich ist gut strukturiertet und sehr ansehnlich gestaltet.

We loved this zoo! They have so many amazing animals and all of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There were several shows throughout the day to keep you informed and entertained! They are also doing updates and adding more to it so we are excited to go back and see that when it’s complete. They also have a “trade area” for kiddos which is free and fun.

Fort Worth Zoo is great with nature like habitat for all animal enclosures with flowing water falls, lush greenery and ambience. It feels more like animal theme park than zoo. However, Toy train ride is disappointing which charges $5 for just 2-3 min ride. Overall the experience is good and a must visit place. It took me 6 hrs to visit the park leisurely spending time with family and photography.

My husband, sister-in-law and I took my son here for his first birthday! Aside from it being the first, hottest day of the summer, we had a blast! I wish there would have been more interaction with the animals, like a lot of the animals we were excited to see weren’t out, but I know it had to do with the heat, as it was super hot, so I don’t blame them! I would say the only thing I wish I would have known more about, was the water park the zoo has. When we first entered the zoo, we came in and went straight to the right rather than to the left and as a result we didn’t know there was a water park area until we were leaving! I would have loved to of experienced that with my son. But since we didn’t get to this time around, it gives us something to look forward to for next time! Also I did want to add we went on a Wednesday, when tickets were only $4 a person, and that was perfect! Didn’t break the bank and I felt we got a good experience for our pricing! Will definitely be back!!

We had a blast visiting the Fort Worth Zoo on a recent trip to the area. We had never been before so I wasn't sure what to expect. We love to visit zoos so we have a lot to compare and I honestly have to say this was one of my favorites! There is a lot of shade which made our summer visit much cooler. There are misting machines and fans everywhere too, so we never felt too hot. Snacks and souvenirs cost about what you would expect at an attraction like this so come prepared to spend $5+ on a bottle of soda. Having said that, the animals were very visible and active. They looked healthy and there were a ton of activities like zoo chats etc. My 5- and 9-year-old had a great time and are still telling friends about it.

One of the best zoo I have seen so far.. best place for family and kids. It took us around 3.5 hrs to explore most of the wildlife in the zoo. They have good sections for refreshment and restroom at frequent interval. There are some kids special areas too.
