The Terrance is by gate 1, same elevator as delta lounge. The salad and sandwiches are all pretty good for complimentary foods. It also has some Free sodas and beers . Nice outdoor seating area with very limited indoor seating. I visited it during November afternoon, so it is very comfortable to sit outside BUT the outdoor seating is by the airport runway. It is super loud .

Nice little lounge to visit before your flight. Has very limited space to sit inside, so I imagine during the summer time it’s pretty miserable outside. The food and drink was very limited, just a handful of snacks to choose from, mini cans of soda, and a few adult beverages to choose from. Not the best lounge, but still nice to get away from the normal airport area.

This lounge was certainly subpar, for a few reasons. There is a severe lack of choices of both food and drink, and very, very little indoor space. The outdoor space is well furnished and there are pretty cool views of the airport, but it is also very loud, obviously. I would go back, but would not spend any appreciable time there.

The Terrace is hit or miss. First, it doesn’t appear on priority pass website. I was lucky that my gate was near by and saw it incidentally while searching for food. I arrived at 2pm. The complimentary food vending machine was virtually empty. When full, it is nice- they were restocking 3-3:30pm. It was a summer day with overcast- very windy and loud. Outdoor seating is mainstay, and indoor would be lucky.

Snacks and alcoholic beverages were nice and consistent. They also had a non alcoholic beer which was nice. Would have liked kambucha in this spirit, but no complaints here.

The empty vending machine was depressing. If weather is nice the place is great with kids- they can watch the planes and have space. If it’s super hot or rainy you can stop by for some quick beverages and leave.

Bathroom could use some basic amenities- vending machine with tampons, pads etc. the single stall isn’t great if someone needs to take their time.

In summary, no luxury experience here, but appreciated if you do not have other lounge access. Particularly since this airport has slim pickings.

The Chase Sapphire Terrace is much smaller than other Chase Sapphire locations I've visited across the U.S. It features a small indoor seating area and a large outdoor terrace with ample seating. Unfortunately, it was very windy on New Year's, making it too cold to sit outside for long. We played two quick rounds of cornhole on the terrace before heading back inside to wait for two seats to free up.

One thing to note is that their trash bins and single stall bathroom are located outside which was a bit inconvenient.

The bar inside offers 8-10 canned drink options, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There's also a small mini fridge outside stocked with water.

Instead of fresh-made food, they have two Farmer's Fridge vending machines with healthy, pre-packaged meal options. While different from traditional Chase lounges, I appreciated that the meals came in containers you can take on the plane. If you finish your meal there, you can recycle the containers at the vending machine as well--very eco-friendly!

Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay (Columbia Valley): Loved it! A great balance of sweet and fruity flavors.

MERF Rosé: I'm not usually a fan of Rosé, but this one wasn't bad. I just didn't enjoy it as much as the Chardonnay.

Farmer's Fridge Food Pineapple Coconut Chia Pudding: Delicious! Perfectly balanced--not too sweet or creamy--and the portion size was just right. I enjoyed every spoon and would happily eat this for breakfast or dessert regularly.

Farmer's Fridge Thai Noodle Bowl: Made with whole grain noodles and roasted zucchini, the flavor was great, and the noodles had a nice texture. However, the portion size was quite small and wasn't filling on its own.

The terrace is a nice option for a quick stop, but it lacks some of the comforts and amenities of other Chase lounges.

First time visiting the lounge. At the time of this review, December 2023, you need a Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card and can bring up to two people with you.
It's not a full on lounge. There's packaged snacks and canned drinks. There's also a Farmer's Fridge vending machine that dispenses salads and yogurts. There is no charge to use the vending machine. The indoor seating area is very small. It was at capacity so I went outside to have my snacks and watch airplanes land. It was a bit chilly and there were no heat lamps. I did not stay out there long. The staff is nice and friendly. Can't wait for them to bring it to New York airports.

They can have more stars when they get better hours. The latest opening hour should be 7 am. It’s not terrible when you get to use it. Decent food and drinks. Location itself also sucks at far east end so if you’re not flying delta or Alaska, you likely can’t get there.

You need a chase sapphire reserve card to enter the lounge, plus a valid boarding pass. You can also bring up to two guests. There are two farmers fridge vending machines, and a small bar that serves canned beverages. There is only one restroom, located on the deck. Outdoor seating is plenty, but indoor seating is quite limited. On the plus side, it’s one of the fee (and easy to get into) lounges at the Austin airport.
