I would have loved to give 5 stars. I love this store and the customer service was amazing. I was let down after I left. My husband bought a pair of waterproof steel toes for work plus a few other things. The cashier was so friendly and talkative that we just swiped the card and left. When checking my bank app I saw it was almost $100. The shoes were only supposed to be $49.99 but rang up $69.99. So please be more vigilant than I was and watch as things are being ring up. This is something I expected from a place like Walmart, not Cabela's. That's why it's 3 and not 4 or 5. The expectations are higher for a place like this.

We visited Santa at Cabela’s on Friday evening after booking an appointment online, and it was a fantastic experience! Santa was so kind, the photos were excellent quality, and the prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be returning next year!

Fantastic gear for everything outdoors. Prices tend to be higher on name-brand items. Outstanding selection.

This store is under staffed and their inventory is lacking. If you are looking for a better selection of in stock items (in my case, hunting gear) and readily available customer service, head to Sheels or Gander.

That said, if you do manage to find someone to help you, you’re likely to have a good customer service experience.

There’s a reason online shopping has become more popular and this store is a prime
Example of that. Little to no inventory besides one size fits all items. Little to no staff. Don’t walk too far in the back or you’ll get verbally assaulted by random people selling vacations. Doesn’t seem like the business is doing all that great if you have to have another business inside selling what is basically the in person spam version of high pressured vacation sales. You should not let people harass your customers. They also pretended to be staff so when we were looking for something they said “yeah we work here” then proceeded to give the sales pitch. Very annoying when you’re trying to find someone who actually works there. If you need help on the floor maybe the 5 to 6 people working in the gun library could be dispersed into the actual store. Just an idea…

I’d would take an insane blow out sale for me to ever want to come back to this store as there is no one to really help and no items in stock to buy.

Definitely recommend going online verse in store because even if you wanted to try on items you’re interested in. Chances are it’s not an option. If you need guns or fishing poles, plenty of those in stock. Most other items, good luck.

Went in to get a solar generator for camping hunting trip, very disappointed to find only the display was available and not even one solar panel to charge with, makes no sense to act as if you are convenient and your customers are told to go home and order online. First time to have an experience like this in one of your stores. 1000's of dollars purchases deserve to be able to put your hands on the product. Not ordered online and receive something you didn't expect.

My 1st time in cabela's. Took a friend, and we really enjoyed our experience . Went birthday shopping for my grandson. We walked the whole store,liked everything. We thought the prices were very good. I'll be back. A little something for everyone. Plus, the staff was very nice&helpful.
