Just had a great experience at The Great Escape Wilmette. We stopped in yesterday to check out their hot tubs, saw a great selection and found our match (Catalina Napa). Randy in sales helped us and couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable about their product line which made the process fast and painless. We bought it and looking forward to our delivery in the next few weeks. That picture is me looking suave in one of the floor displays 🙂

I got there very nice deal on furniture and umbrella,
There was some problems during delivery but management of the store solved the problem in one day,

Bought a spa here assuming overpaying would get me better service. As soon as they had my money they stopped returning calls, being polite or answering questions. Had to go up there the day it was delivered to get them to talk to me after they wouldn't return my calls about issues. Had to pay extra to get the parts they didn't deliver or install. Was told to google my questions and to contact the manufacturer with any issues (tried and waited on hold an hour before giving up and turning to reddit). Each of the four interactions they denied saying something they clearly stated to my wife and I the prior time. Get everything clearly in writing and don't expect any support after they have your money.

When I went in they said they would have to get back to me, took my name and number and never called. Guess business is so good they can turn a sale down.

We had a bad experience elsewhere in making a big purchase and came here hoping to get a better idea of what our options were. Randy really took the time to explain everything and made sure that we didn’t leave with any uncertainty or questions. Do not buy a pool from this place Ian makes you think you are getting a great deal for a great product but the reality is I've had my pool for two years I've already had to replace the insides of my heater the ladder has already broken because it is made cheaply, The Ledges are already loose, the automatic cleaner did not work, I feel like they had just sold me the leftovers in their stock I found that the heater they sold me was already out of date when they sold it to me, they told me installation was included but I still had to give the people that installed
It $60 cash with no receipt. Do yourself a favor research everything that you need for a pool do not get the pool packages and you will be much happier customer. And for the record the filter and heater and chlorinator and ladder were all out of the elements for the winter time so they cannot blame the weather

I was there on 6/16 after purchasing new pool. Pool was installed and I had some questions about filtering system. Mark was very helpful with not only answering my questions but filled me in on many items I was not aware of. Thanks Mark!
