I’m starting dabble in the Indian/ Paki foods and restaurants…..they are all over the place in Frisco ….. I usually order the same common dishes….tikka masala chicken 65 and a chicken biryani…..not bold enough to try mutton yet…..and yes I come to learn it’s all very different even tho it’s all the same dish……the gravy wasn’t like addicting like other places …. Chicken was ok….i wasn’t really blown out my seat!

The Chicken Kebab Combo should really be called a duo or trio (depending on your preference for the starch). Four decent sized pieces of chicken, very moist inside, with an above average taste. I would have preferred an extra minute or more on the grill for the chicken pieces, but then each cook knows how to accommodate the masses. The accompanying Pindi Channa was good, but the (Plain, by request) Naan wasn't up to expectations for restaurant quality. Perhaps, a fast food place could be forgiven on this score, but I like my Naan just a little thicker. Better still call it crisp Roti and forget about meeting expectations with a proper Naan.

The Murgh Nazakat was good too with four tender succulent pieces of chicken submerged in a bowl. Glad that I opted for rice instead of Naan to soak up the liberal dressing of "liquids" in the bowl. The grilling of the chicken was lost in the liquids but the flavor of the spices remained gentle.

The menu is limited to the wall (long live kiosk monitors, eh?) above the order desk. No printed copies are available to browse leisurely while seated at the table - fast-food concept strikes again! The money saved in printing menus is probably "donated" to the IT company serving the kiosk and other order entry apps. Give the IT company more money to build an app to let customers order while seated at the table. Perhaps, this app already exists, but I was not made aware.

There is no tea service - remarkable for a "desi" food joint. You can have all the Lassi you want as long as you like the Mango flavor. It is bottled by the ODA chain and the absence of other flavors was not explored by your truly.

The Somosa is served so hot fresh with a flaky crisp. Yummy. My favorite snack.

Mahi (Jabberfoodwocky)

The restaurant was well maintained, and was neat. You can find your own table after ordering your food. We ordered a 3 piece aachari paneer kebab that were good. The dip that was given was delicious with the very soft paneer. Paneer Butter Masala was declared as the very best, and delicious in the entire universe by my 6 year old, and it did taste good. We ordered bhutta simla mirch paneer curry, and that tasted good as well. The butta curry portion was too small for $13 and felt it was slightly more than the kids portion of the paneer butter masala.

The best takeaway was the naan. They were extremely soft, and thin, easy to eat, and fresh. They were so soft and piping hot, you cannot help but pop them into your mouth to feel the soft naan with some hot paneer curry. If not for the portions, I would have given another star, but the price and the portions didn’t seem to match. Will definitely return again though, as the food was good. The server even came back and asked us how the food was.

This was my first visit, we ordered Paneer Tikka (Achari & Pahadi) for starters and Veg Biryani for main course.
Biryani tasted good, but it had few extra ingredients (celery, corn, broccoli) and we felt as if the rice was less as compared to the veggies & gravy.

Both the tikka’s were delicious, but I would prefer Achari over Pahadi.

Overall it was a good experience. Staff and the service were great!

I have mixed emotions about this place. The Chicken Tika Masala and Butter Masala were VERY GOOD & flavorful. The Tandoori Chicken had some of the best flavor I've ever had!
So what's the problem? Everything was SO small my Tandoori Chicken meal had 2 of the smallest pieces of chicken I'd ever seen!! We weren't super hungry, but we still left a little wanting. I ran out of chicken before my naan was half gone and. Spent the rest of my time dipping the remaining Naan into my son's butter chicken sauce.

Great restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff! If you're looking for a fresh, hot and fast lunch, you need to check out O'Desi Aroma.

The Chicken Tikka is has a citrus-kick and grilled perfectly. The Bhutta Paneer is flavorful and the veggies are crisp. The naan is soft and full of garlic. I can't wait to come back!

The flavors and food are excellent! Fine dining food in a casual atmosphere. Very courteous servers and relaxing atmosphere. We've been here before and we will be back!
